Evolution of mass media in Pakistan

















How media gathers information and transmits to the world 


Media is elevated above the 2-dimensional public realm, which holds a biased view. As media is elevated, it can see the reality in 3rd dimension being non-biased





But media also suffers through censorship, which makes it to highlight the glamorous aspect of life



















But due to needs of the contemporary free media policy became inevitable.

After being long shrouded by censorship, free media started highlighting the leftover things, the dead thing and the taboos that exist in our society but we never talk about them.

It stared to show the reality to the masses .






Analysing Media

in the first study the analysis of  media has been done. What is media? what are its types and how it works? Furthermore how it can revitalize the dead spaces in an urban setting.

This study is an effort to analyze the electronic media boom in Pakistan and the factors that make it possible. Further more it also highlights the impact of electronic media upon the masses. It also focuses on the needs of electronic media(entertainment media in particular) and how that can be fulfilled through an architectural solution.
